Barclay James Harvest ist eine britische Progressive-Rock-Gruppe, die vor allem durch ihren orchestral geprägten Stil, der zum Teil Klassik und Rock verbindet, bekannt wurde.
1977 war das bis dahin erfolgreichste Jahr für die Band. Besonders in Deutschland hatten sie mit dem achten Studioalbum, Gone to Earth (September), und der daraus ausgekoppelten Single Hymn hohe Chartplatzierungen.
